Who We Are

Our family has always loved books.

Whenever we travel somewhere new, one of the first things we do is visit a local bookstore. There’s nothing quite like the energy inside one, and we have always dreamed of opening a place of our own.

During 2023, we learned that a very popular bookstore in the Hendersonville area was closing, (you can easily imagine which one), and we knew it was God speaking through these events: It was time.

We love knowledge and the open exchange of ideas through classic and modern works because we are guided by our faith in God’s commitment to truth and light. No words should be silenced, no thoughts hidden or burned. We believe books both new and old are doorways into human experience, wisdom, and imagination. We wish to cultivate that shared love of reading and aim to create an enjoyable atmosphere to do so for all families.
